Simple recipe for tender chicken cooked in a sweet and tangy honey mustard sauce using a slow cooker.

- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, honey, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the sauce mixture evenly over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours, or on high for 2 to 3 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and easily shredded.
- Shred the chicken with two forks directly in the slow cooker, mixing it with the sauce.
- Serve hot over rice or with vegetables.
Notes
- For thicker sauce, remove the lid for the last 30 minutes of cooking.
- You can use chicken thighs instead of breasts.
