- 3 lb sirloin tip roast
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup beef broth
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Rub the roast all over with olive oil.
- Mix salt, pepper, rosemary, and garlic powder together. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the entire roast.
- Place the roast in a roasting pan.
- Pour the beef broth into the bottom of the roasting pan.
- Roast for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until an internal temperature of 135 degrees Fahrenheit is reached for medium-rare.
- Remove the roast from the oven and tent loosely with foil. Let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing against the grain.
Notes
- For more flavor, sear the roast on all sides in a hot skillet before placing it in the oven.
- Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness accurately.
