Description

A simple recipe for a classic shrimp boil cooked entirely on one sheet pan for easy cleanup.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound small red potatoes, halved
  • 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 ears of corn, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1 large onion, quartered
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the potatoes, sausage, corn, and onion.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, minced garlic, Old Bay seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the oil mixture over the potatoes, sausage, corn, and onion. Toss everything until evenly coated.
  5. Spread the potato mixture in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Roast for 15 minutes.
  7. Remove the pan from the oven. Add the shrimp to the pan and toss gently with the roasted vegetables.
  8. Return the pan to the oven and roast for another 8 to 10 minutes, or until the shrimp is pink and cooked through.
  9. Serve immediately with lemon wedges.

Notes

  • You can substitute the sausage with andouille or kielbasa.
  • For extra flavor, add 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper to the seasoning mix.
  • If your shrimp are very large, they may require a few extra minutes of cooking time.
