- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy cream, whipped
- 1 package (8 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 1 1/2 cups crushed chocolate wafer cookies
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
Instructions
- Beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Fold in the whipped heavy cream and the thawed whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture.
- Combine the crushed chocolate wafer cookies and melted butter in a separate bowl.
- Press half of the cookie mixture into the bottom of an 8×8 inch baking dish.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cookie layer.
- Sprinkle the remaining cookie mixture over the cream cheese layer.
- Chill the dessert for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute chocolate graham crackers for chocolate wafer cookies if needed.
- For a firmer texture, chill the dessert overnight.
