Description

A simple, chilled layered dessert featuring cream cheese, whipped topping, and crushed cookies.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream, whipped
  • 1 package (8 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed chocolate wafer cookies
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Fold in the whipped heavy cream and the thawed whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture.
  3. Combine the crushed chocolate wafer cookies and melted butter in a separate bowl.
  4. Press half of the cookie mixture into the bottom of an 8×8 inch baking dish.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cookie layer.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining cookie mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  7. Chill the dessert for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute chocolate graham crackers for chocolate wafer cookies if needed.
  • For a firmer texture, chill the dessert overnight.
