A cool and creamy cucumber salad perfect for hot summer days.
Ingredients

- 3 large cucumbers, peeled, seeded, and thinly sliced
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, dill, chives, lemon juice, sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
- Add the sliced cucumbers to the bowl and gently toss to coat them evenly with the dressing.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
- Stir again before serving.
Notes
- For a lighter version, you can substitute Greek yogurt for some or all of the sour cream.
- Add a pinch of garlic powder for extra flavor.
- Serve chilled.
