Description

A cool and creamy cucumber salad perfect for hot summer days.


Ingredients

  • 3 large cucumbers, peeled, seeded, and thinly sliced
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, dill, chives, lemon juice, sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
  2. Add the sliced cucumbers to the bowl and gently toss to coat them evenly with the dressing.
  3. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
  4. Stir again before serving.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, you can substitute Greek yogurt for some or all of the sour cream.
  • Add a pinch of garlic powder for extra flavor.
