Description
Delicious no-bake treats combining the classic flavors of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and Oreos.
Ingredients
Scale
- 20 Oreo cookies, finely crushed
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup Reese’s peanut butter chips, melted
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
- 1 tablespoon vegetable shortening (optional, for smoother melting)
Instructions
- Place crushed Oreos in a large bowl.
- Add softened cream cheese to the crushed Oreos and mix until well combined and a dough forms.
- Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Freeze the balls for at least 30 minutes until firm.
- Melt Reese’s peanut butter chips and semi-sweet chocolate chips separately (you can use a double boiler or microwave in short intervals, stirring frequently). Add vegetable shortening to each if desired for a smoother coating.
- Dip each frozen ball into the melted peanut butter chips, then into the melted chocolate chips, ensuring they are fully coated.
- Place coated balls back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Refrigerate until the chocolate is set, about 15-20 minutes.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Notes
- For finer crumbs, use a food processor.
- Adjust melting chips to your preference.
- Drizzle with contrasting melted chocolate for decoration.
