A simple recipe for making crispy roasted Brussels sprouts in the oven.

- 1 pound Brussels sprouts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).
- Trim the ends off the Brussels sprouts and remove any loose outer leaves.
- Cut the sprouts in half lengthwise.
- Place the halved sprouts in a large bowl.
- Drizzle the olive oil over the sprouts and toss to coat them evenly.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper, then toss again.
- Spread the sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Roast for 20 to 30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until they are tender and browned on the outside.
Notes
- For extra flavor, toss with balsamic vinegar after roasting.
- If you prefer softer sprouts, cover the baking sheet with foil for the first 15 minutes of cooking.
