Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).
- Wash the asparagus and snap off the tough, woody ends.
- Place the trimmed asparagus on a baking sheet.
- Drizzle the asparagus with olive oil.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Toss the asparagus gently to coat evenly.
- Spread the asparagus in a single layer on the baking sheet.
- Roast for 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the spears, until tender-crisp.
- Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
Notes
- For thinner asparagus, roast for closer to 10 minutes.
- For thicker asparagus, roast for closer to 15 minutes.
- You can add garlic powder or lemon zest before roasting for extra flavor.
