Description

A quick and flavorful steak dish with onions and peppers.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Add the sliced steak and marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the marinated steak and stir-fry until browned. Remove steak from the pan and set aside.
  4. Add sliced onions and bell peppers to the pan. Stir-fry until tender-crisp, about 5 minutes.
  5. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Return the steak to the pan. Add sesame oil.
  7. Toss everything together until well combined and heated through. Season with salt and pepper if needed.
  8. Serve hot.

Notes

  • You can add other vegetables like mushrooms or broccoli.
  • Adjust soy sauce and oyster sauce to your preference.
  • Serve with rice or noodles.
