Ingredients

  • 2 pounds rutabaga, peeled and cubed
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 4 tablespoons butter

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place the cubed rutabaga in a large pot and cover with water.
  2. Bring the water to a boil and cook until the rutabaga is tender, about 15 to 20 minutes.

  4. Return the drained rutabaga to the pot.
