Ingredients

  • 2 thick-cut bone-in pork chops
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels.
  2. Mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in a small bowl.
  3. Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the pork chops.
  4. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  5. Carefully place the pork chops in the hot skillet.
  6. Sear for 4 to 5 minutes per side until a golden-brown crust forms.
