Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 ounces linguine
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup dry white wine (optional)
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions

- Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- If using, add white wine and lemon juice to the skillet. Bring to a simmer and cook for 1 minute.
- Stir in parsley and red pepper flakes (if using). Season with salt and pepper.
- Add the drained linguine to the skillet with the shrimp. Toss to combine, adding a little reserved pasta water if needed to create a light sauce.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For a richer sauce, you can add a splash of heavy cream.
