Description

Crispy, healthy quinoa crisps coated in dark chocolate.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cooked quinoa, cooled
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Spread the cooked quinoa in a thin layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Bake at 300°F (150°C) for 20-25 minutes, or until dry and crispy, stirring halfway through. Let cool completely.
  4. Melt the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
  5. Add the cooled quinoa to the melted chocolate and stir to coat evenly.
  6. Spread the chocolate-coated quinoa back onto the parchment paper in a single layer.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or until the chocolate is firm.
  8. Break into pieces.
