Description
A simple recipe for grilled steak and shrimp kabobs.
Ingredients

- 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 red bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 green bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 red onion, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Wooden or metal skewers
Instructions
- If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes.
- In a bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Add steak and shrimp to the marinade, toss to coat, and let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Thread the marinated steak, shrimp, bell peppers, and red onion onto the skewers, alternating ingredients.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the kabobs for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the steak is cooked to your desired doneness and the shrimp are pink and opaque.
- Remove from grill and serve immediately.
Notes
- You can add other vegetables like zucchini or cherry tomatoes to your kabobs.
- Adjust marinade ingredients to your preference.
