Description
Crispy baked chicken wings coated in a rich garlic parmesan sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds chicken wings, separated into drumettes and flats
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with salt, pepper, and paprika until evenly coated.
- Arrange the wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 40-50 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are golden brown and cooked through.
- While the wings are baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Remove the garlic butter from the heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, and lemon juice.
- Once the wings are cooked, place them in a large bowl. Pour the garlic parmesan sauce over the wings and toss to coat evenly.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispy wings, pat them dry with paper towels before seasoning.
- You can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce for a little heat.
