Description
A quick and delicious breakfast sandwich made with flaky croissants.
Ingredients

- 2 croissants, sliced horizontally
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 slices cooked bacon or ham
- 2 slices cheese (cheddar, provolone, or Swiss)
- 2 large eggs
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Melt butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Toast the cut sides of the croissants in the skillet until golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- Crack eggs into the skillet. Cook to your desired doneness (fried or scrambled). Season with salt and pepper.
- Place cheese slices on top of the cooked eggs to melt.
- Assemble the sandwiches: place the egg and cheese on the bottom half of each croissant, top with bacon or ham, and cover with the top half of the croissant.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- You can add your favorite hot sauce for extra flavor.
- For a vegetarian option, omit the bacon or ham and add sautéed mushrooms or spinach.
