Quick and easy crispy salmon bites with a spicy-sweet bang bang sauce.

- 1.5 lbs salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- For the Bang Bang Sauce:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon sriracha
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 teaspoon lime juice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a shallow dish, combine panko breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper.
- In another shallow dish, place the beaten egg.
- In a third shallow dish, place the flour.
- Dredge each salmon cube first in the flour, then dip into the egg, and finally coat with the panko mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Place the coated salmon bites on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- While the salmon bakes, prepare the Bang Bang sauce. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice until smooth.
- Once the salmon bites are cooked, toss them gently in the Bang Bang sauce.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispy salmon, you can air fry the bites at 375°F (190°C) for 8-10 minutes.
- Adjust sriracha to your spice preference.
- Garnish with chopped chives or sesame seeds if desired.
