  • 1 1/4 cups milk

  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and white sugar.
  2. Make a well in the center and pour in the milk, egg, and melted butter; mix until smooth.
  3. Stir in the brown sugar and vanilla extract.
  4. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake.
  6. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side.
  7. Serve warm.
