Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- For the sauce:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon sriracha
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon lime juice
Instructions
- In a shallow dish, whisk together flour, cornstarch, salt, and pepper.
- In another shallow dish, place the beaten egg.

- Fry the shrimp in batches for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- While the shrimp are frying, prepare the sauce. In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice until smooth.
- Once all shrimp are fried, toss them gently in the sauce until evenly coated.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra spice, add more sriracha to the sauce.
