Description

Quick and delicious banana oatmeal bars perfect for breakfast or a snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1/4 cup dried fruit (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.
  3. In a bowl, combine mashed bananas, rolled oats, nuts (if using), dried fruit (if using), cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Mix until well combined.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking pan.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and set.
  7. Let cool completely before cutting into bars.
