Ingredients

  • 1 block feta cheese
  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • 8 ounces pasta
  • fresh basil, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the feta cheese in the center of a baking dish.
  3. Arrange the cherry tomatoes around the feta.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over the feta and tomatoes.
  5. Sprinkle minced garlic, oregano, and red pepper flakes over the mixture.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the tomatoes are burst and the feta is soft and creamy.
  8. While the feta is baking, cook your pasta according to package directions.
  9. Remove the baking dish from the oven. Mash the feta and tomatoes with a fork to create a sauce.
  10. Add the cooked pasta to the baking dish and toss to coat with the sauce.
  11. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
