Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1/4 cup stir fry sauce
  • Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, toss chicken with soy sauce and cornstarch.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add chicken and stir fry until browned and cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet.
  4. Add broccoli, bell peppers, and onion to the skillet. Stir fry until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Add garlic and ginger and stir fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet. Pour in stir fry sauce and toss to coat.
  7. Cook for 1-2 minutes until sauce has thickened.
  8. Serve immediately over cooked rice.

  • For a spicier stir fry, add red pepper flakes with the garlic and ginger.
