This recipe shows you how to grill fresh pineapple slices for a sweet, caramelized side dish or dessert.

- 1 whole ripe pineapple
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
Instructions
- Peel and core the pineapple. Slice it into rounds about 1/2 inch thick.
- In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and lime juice.
- Brush both sides of the pineapple slices with the sugar mixture.
- Preheat your grill to medium heat.
- Place the pineapple slices directly on the grill grates.
- Grill for 3 to 4 minutes per side, until grill marks appear and the sugar is caramelized.
- Remove from the grill and serve warm.
Notes
- You can substitute maple syrup for brown sugar if desired.
- For a smoky flavor, use wood chips on your grill.
