Instructions

  1. Prepare your grill for medium-high heat.
  2. Toss the trimmed asparagus with olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Place the asparagus directly on the grill grates.
  4. Grill for 5 to 7 minutes, turning occasionally, until tender-crisp and lightly charred.
  5. While the asparagus grills, whisk together the lemon juice and lemon zest in a small bowl.
  6. Remove the asparagus from the grill and place it on a serving platter.
  7. Drizzle the lemon dressing over the warm asparagus.
  8. Serve immediately.
