Description
A quick and simple side dish featuring crisp sugar snap peas tossed with garlic and Parmesan cheese.

- 1 pound sugar snap peas, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Do not let the garlic burn.
- Add the trimmed sugar snap peas to the skillet.
- Sauté the peas for 3 to 5 minutes until they are bright green and slightly tender-crisp.
- Remove the skillet from the heat.
- Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper over the peas.
- Toss everything together until the peas are evenly coated.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice before serving.
- If you prefer softer peas, cook them for an additional 2 minutes.
