Ingredients

  • 1 package (13.4 ounces) refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the pizza dough onto a lightly floured surface. Cut the dough into 12 equal strips.
  3. Tie each strip into a simple knot and place the knots on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  5. While the knots bake, prepare the butter sauce. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
  6. Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Do not brown the garlic.
  7. Remove the pan from the heat. Stir in the chopped parsley and salt.
  8. When the knots come out of the oven, immediately brush them generously with the garlic butter mixture.
  9. Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the warm knots. Serve warm.

Notes

  • You can use store-bought minced garlic if you prefer.
  • For stronger garlic flavor, let the minced garlic steep in the melted butter for 5 minutes before brushing.
