Description
Easy recipe for soft, buttery garlic knots perfect as a side dish.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package (13.4 ounces) refrigerated pizza dough
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the pizza dough onto a lightly floured surface. Cut the dough into 12 equal strips.
- Tie each strip into a simple knot and place the knots on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- While the knots bake, prepare the butter sauce. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
- Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Do not brown the garlic.
- Remove the pan from the heat. Stir in the chopped parsley and salt.
- When the knots come out of the oven, immediately brush them generously with the garlic butter mixture.
- Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the warm knots. Serve warm.
Notes
- You can use store-bought minced garlic if you prefer.
- For stronger garlic flavor, let the minced garlic steep in the melted butter for 5 minutes before brushing.
