- 1 lb tilapia fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the tilapia fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the tilapia fillets for 2-3 minutes per side until lightly golden.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour the lemon juice over the tilapia.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

- Serve immediately for best flavor.
- You can add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little heat.
