Ingredients

  • 1 lb tilapia fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the tilapia fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Sear the tilapia fillets for 2-3 minutes per side until lightly golden.
  5. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Pour the lemon juice over the tilapia.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
  8. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
