Description

Simple recipe for quick, low-carb chaffles made with cheese and eggs.


Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon almond flour (optional, for structure)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your mini waffle maker or chaffle maker.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk the eggs until combined.
  3. Stir in the shredded mozzarella cheese, almond flour (if using), salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  4. Pour half of the batter into the center of the preheated waffle maker.
  5. Close the lid and cook for 3 to 5 minutes, or until the chaffle is golden brown and firm.
  6. Carefully remove the chaffle with a spatula.
  7. Repeat with the remaining batter for a second chaffle.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For crispier chaffles, cook for an extra minute or two.
  • You can add 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder or dried herbs for flavor variation.
