Garlic Parmesan Mashed Potatoes

Description

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and quartered
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place potatoes in a large pot and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  2. Drain potatoes and return them to the pot.
  3. Heat milk and butter in a small saucepan until butter is melted. Stir in minced garlic.
  4. Pour milk mixture over potatoes. Mash potatoes until smooth and creamy.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
