Ingredients

- 1 pound ripe tomatoes, sliced
- 8 ounces fresh mozzarella, sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Arrange tomato and mozzarella slices on a platter, alternating them.
- Tuck fresh basil leaves between the tomato and mozzarella.
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
- Drizzle the olive oil and balsamic mixture over the salad.
- Season with salt and black pepper to your preference.

- For a thicker glaze, reduce balsamic vinegar in a small saucepan over medium heat until it thickens.
