Description
A simple and creamy gelatin dessert made with cream cheese.
Ingredients

- 1 package (3 ounces) lemon gelatin
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Stir in cold water.
- In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add vanilla extract to the cream cheese mixture.
- Gradually beat the gelatin mixture into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
- Pour into a 1-quart mold or individual serving dishes.
- Chill until firm, about 4 hours.
Notes
- For a firmer dessert, use 1 1/4 cups cold water.
- You can substitute other flavors of gelatin.
- Garnish with fresh fruit if desired.
