Simple recipe for tender, flavorful country style pork ribs.

- 3 lbs country style pork ribs
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a small bowl, mix the salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
- Rub the spice mixture evenly over all surfaces of the pork ribs.
- Place the seasoned ribs in a large baking dish.
- Pour the apple cider vinegar and water into the bottom of the baking dish.
- Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil.
- Bake for 2 hours.
- Remove the foil and drain off any excess liquid from the dish.
- Brush the tops of the ribs generously with barbecue sauce.
- Return the uncovered ribs to the oven and bake for an additional 30 minutes, or until the sauce is slightly caramelized.
- Let the ribs rest for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute chicken broth for water if desired.
- For extra tenderness, cook low and slow at 300 degrees Fahrenheit for 2.5 hours before saucing.
