Description

Rich and fudgy chocolate brownies that taste like the Starbucks version.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar.
  3. Add the cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder to the butter mixture and whisk until combined.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the flour, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs attached.
  9. Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.

Notes

  • For an extra fudgy brownie, bake for a shorter time.
