Description

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, baking powder, salt, and white sugar in a large bowl.
  2. Whisk milk, egg, and melted butter in a separate bowl.
  3. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix until just combined; do not overmix.
  4. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon together for the swirl filling.
  5. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or pan over medium heat.
  6. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle for each pancake.
  7. Immediately sprinkle about 1 teaspoon of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the wet batter.
  8. Use a toothpick or knife to gently swirl the cinnamon mixture into the batter.
  9. Cook until bubbles appear on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.
  10. Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for the glaze.
  11. Drizzle the glaze over the warm pancakes before serving.

Notes

  • You can use vegetable oil instead of melted butter for cooking the pancakes.
