A simple casserole combining chicken, bacon, ranch seasoning, and tater tots.

- 1 pound ground chicken
- 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 (10.5 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 (1 ounce) package dry ranch seasoning mix
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1 (32 ounce) bag frozen tater tots
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Cook the ground chicken in a skillet over medium heat until fully browned. Drain any excess grease.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked chicken, crumbled bacon, cream of chicken soup, milk, ranch seasoning mix, and 1 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well.
- Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer over the chicken mixture.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the casserole from the oven and sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of cheddar cheese over the tater tots.
- Return the casserole to the oven and bake for another 10 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the tater tots are golden brown.
Notes
- You can substitute ground turkey for ground chicken if desired.
- For crispier tots, you can bake the tots for 15 minutes before adding the cheese topping.
