- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 4 cups broccoli florets, fresh or frozen
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked chicken, broccoli florets, condensed cream of chicken soup, and milk.
- Stir in 1/2 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Pour the mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a small bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, remaining 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, and melted butter.
- Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the casserole.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the topping is golden brown.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, you can use cream of mushroom soup instead of cream of chicken soup.
- If using fresh broccoli, you may want to lightly steam it before adding it to the casserole to ensure it is tender.
