Description
A safe-to-eat dip that tastes like rich brownie batter.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- Combine the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a medium bowl. Beat with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the vanilla extract and milk until just combined.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed until just incorporated. Do not overmix.
- Stir in the mini chocolate chips by hand.
- Serve immediately with graham crackers, pretzels, or fruit.
Notes
- To make the flour safe, heat it in a microwave-safe bowl for 1 minute 30 seconds, stirring halfway through, until it reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit internally. Let it cool before using.
- You can substitute almond flour for all-purpose flour for a gluten-free option.
- Store leftover dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
