A refreshing, simple drink made with fresh blueberries, water, and sweetener.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups fresh blueberries
- 4 cups cold water

- Juice of 1 lime
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Place the blueberries, sugar, and 1 cup of water into a blender.
- Blend until the mixture is smooth.
- Pour the blueberry mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a large pitcher, pressing down on the solids to extract all the liquid. Discard the solids.
- Add the remaining 3 cups of water and the lime juice to the pitcher. Stir well.
- Taste the agua fresca and add more sugar or water if needed.
- Serve immediately over ice.
Notes
- For a less sweet drink, reduce the sugar amount.
- You can strain the mixture twice for a clearer liquid.
- Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving for best flavor.
