A classic and creamy macaroni salad perfect for picnics and potlucks.
Ingredients

- 1 pound elbow macaroni
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup chopped celery
- 1/4 cup chopped red onion
- 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water.
- In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, celery, red onion, green bell pepper, relish, mustard, and vinegar.
- Add cooked macaroni to the bowl and stir to combine.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add chopped hard-boiled eggs.
- Adjust the amount of mayonnaise to your preference.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
