Description

A classic and creamy macaroni salad perfect for picnics and potlucks.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water.
  2. In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, celery, red onion, green bell pepper, relish, mustard, and vinegar.
  3. Add cooked macaroni to the bowl and stir to combine.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
