Description

A quick and fresh salad featuring avocado, tomato, and onion.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 large tomato
  • 1/2 red onion
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a medium bowl.
  2. Dice the tomato and thinly slice the red onion.
  3. Add the diced tomato and sliced onion to the bowl with the avocado.
  4. Pour the lime juice and olive oil over the ingredients.
  5. Gently mix everything together until just combined. Do not overmix.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to your preference.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a different flavor, substitute lime juice with lemon juice.
  • If you prefer a milder onion flavor, soak the sliced onion in cold water for 10 minutes before adding it to the salad.
