Description

Crispy cauliflower florets tossed in spicy buffalo sauce cooked in an air fryer.


Ingredients

  • 1 head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter (optional, for richer sauce)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  2. In a separate shallow dish, place the flour.
  3. Dip each floret into the milk, then dredge thoroughly in the flour mixture, shaking off excess.
  4. Place the coated florets in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd; work in batches if necessary.
  5. Air fry at 380°F (195°C) for 12 to 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden brown and tender-crisp.
  6. While the cauliflower cooks, mix the buffalo sauce and melted butter (if using) in a bowl.
  7. Once cooked, transfer the hot cauliflower to the sauce bowl and toss gently to coat evenly.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, you can lightly spray the coated florets with cooking spray before air frying.
