Description
Crispy cauliflower florets tossed in spicy buffalo sauce cooked in an air fryer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
- 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
- 2 tablespoons melted butter (optional, for richer sauce)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- In a separate shallow dish, place the flour.
- Dip each floret into the milk, then dredge thoroughly in the flour mixture, shaking off excess.
- Place the coated florets in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd; work in batches if necessary.
- Air fry at 380°F (195°C) for 12 to 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden brown and tender-crisp.
- While the cauliflower cooks, mix the buffalo sauce and melted butter (if using) in a bowl.
- Once cooked, transfer the hot cauliflower to the sauce bowl and toss gently to coat evenly.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, you can lightly spray the coated florets with cooking spray before air frying.
- Adjust the amount of buffalo sauce based on your preferred spice level.
